Decent size portions. Friendly staff. Helpful. Nice environment. Large portions. Bit pricey. Quality of food was decent. Bacon on burger was very fatty. Side salad was tasty. Overall decent visit.

Another gorgeous late lunch My wife and I visited here on a terrible day two weeks weeks before Christmas. I've reviewed this restaurant before, do this will be short. The friendly server cleared a table for us, and we're seated in a few minutes. Food was delicious, served piping hot, sides of fries and mash were again delicious and piping hot. We visited on the day the heating was broken, but we did not notice, only the server told us. Coffee was again delicious. This is a beautiful restaurant, with good food and great staff. Can't wait to return soon. I'd highly recommend this place. Thanks again for another lovely meal.

Good food and restaurant We had dinner here on a Friday evening in early September. The bar/restaurant is well located on the waterfront in Monkstown/Passage West. The restaurant is very clean throughout and the menu/food is very good. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The rice pudding was a particular favourite with our party. Well worth a visit.

The best lunch venue around Cork. Excellent friendly service. Hot fresh food. Great location. A suggestion I'd make is that the menu is way too big. Can't be economic. Organising a group of 17 with possible no shows etc, I received excellent courteous service.

Very pleasant dining experience with good food and excellent service. We were treated to a satisfying dinner in pleasant surroundings and waited on by attentive, polite and friendly, yet unobtrusive servers. I did think the seafood chowder was quite a bit under seasoned and bland which has lost the experience a point and is something I personally would not order again, however my partners fried brie was well presented and ate as good as it looked. For main she opted for trio of fish which she very much enjoyed whilst I chose the scampi which again was enjoyable and of high quality. One slight initial concern was that the plates look unappealing and a little miserable as they were delivered the table, due to them solely containing the protein offering, which I initially found a little strange, however once the chips, salads and vegetables arrived, the dishes were enough to satisfy any hunger. In general the dishes ate very well and we enjoyed a very pleasant meal. The setting for the restaurant is superb and if you are not completely stuffed, you can walk a bit of the meal off along the harbour wall. I will definitely be a returning customer.
